1. Who we are

This site is operated by Solid Finish Coatings LLC, trading as Garage Baby ("Garage Baby", "we", "us"). We provide garage floor coating, garage storage and garage renovation services in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

• Your name, phone number and email address
• Your property address or town
• Details about your garage: size, current floor condition, what you use the space for, what you want it to become, and your timeline
• Photographs of your property that you send us
• Anything else you choose to tell us by form, phone, text or email

Information collected automatically when you submit a form

When you submit an enquiry through this site, our form also records the page you submitted from, the website that referred you, the date and time of submission, and how long the form took to complete. The last of these is a spam-prevention measure.

Information collected by our website platform

This site is hosted on Squarespace, which sets cookies and collects standard analytics including IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and time on site. Squarespace processes this as our service provider. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Fonts and images

Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts and images from the Squarespace content delivery network. Loading these transmits your IP address to those providers. We do not control what they do with it.

3. How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and give you a quote
• To schedule and carry out work at your property
• To follow up about a project you asked us about
• To keep records of work performed, including photographs of the substrate, repairs and materials used
• To improve the site and understand which pages people find useful
• To comply with our legal and tax obligations

4. Calls, texts and emails

When you give us your phone number, you are asking us to contact you about your project. We may call or text you about your enquiry, your quote, scheduling and the work itself.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of further texts, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not opt you out of phone calls about an active project, and it does not cancel a contract.

If we ever send marketing or promotional messages, those are separate from project messages and you can opt out of them at any time without affecting your project.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any of them, or by emailing us.

5. Photographs of your property

We photograph our work. Before-and-after photographs of completed projects may appear on this website, on our social media and in our marketing, and we may note the town a project was in.

We do not publish your name, your street address or identifying details of your home without your permission. If you would rather we did not photograph your project at all, or would rather we did not publish it, tell us and we will not. If a photograph of your project is already published and you want it removed, email us and we will take it down.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Our customer management system. Enquiries submitted on this site are transmitted to our CRM, which we use to manage leads, scheduling and communication.
• Our website platform. Squarespace, which hosts this site.
• Suppliers and subcontractors where necessary to carry out your project, and only the information they need.
• Professional advisers and authorities where we are legally required to.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for 24 months and then deleted. Records relating to completed work, including contracts, warranties and project photographs, are kept for as long as we may need them to honour a warranty or meet a legal or tax obligation.

8. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.

Residents of New Jersey and Delaware have specific rights under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act and the Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act. We honour requests of this kind regardless of whether those statutes apply to a business of our size.

We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising or profiling.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us. No website or system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send us financial account details, card numbers or social security numbers through this website.

10. Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on the page.
