Garage Baby / About
You shouldn't have to apologise for your garage.
It's the room you walk through more than any other, and it's the only one in the house nobody ever finished. That's the problem we exist to solve.
We know what you see when the door goes up.
A floor that's stained and cracked and has been that way for years. Bikes leaning against the water heater. A shelf that was supposed to be temporary. The box you've moved four times without opening. One bulb doing the work of six.
It isn't really about the mess. It's that you park in there every day, you walk through it to get into your own house, and it's the one room you'd rather nobody saw. You've thought about doing something with it for years. Something else always came up, and it's genuinely hard to know where you'd even start.
You already own the space. You just want to be able to use it.
We've stood in a few hundred of these.
So we know how the conversation usually goes. You want the floor done. Then you stand in the doorway looking at the walls, the lighting and the corner where everything ends up, and you realise the floor was only the part you knew how to ask for.
We spent 3 years doing garage floors under the name Solid Finish Coatings, and we got good at it. Some of the reviews on this site still say that name, because those customers hired us before we changed it. We changed it because a floor company fixes the floor and leaves, and we kept being asked to finish the room.
Now we plan the floor, the storage and the walls together, in one conversation, with one person responsible for all of it. The floor standard didn't change. We just stopped pretending the job ended there.
You'll find our finished garages in Atco, Voorhees, Willingboro, Mount Holly, Sewell, Swedesboro and Willow Grove, photographed before and after from the same spot, on our work page. Every floor carries one written warranty. Not a three, five and seven year ladder, because that structure exists to sell you the version that was built correctly. We build one version.
Three steps, and none of them are hard on you.
You don't need to know what you want before you call. Working that out is our job.

Send us photos
Three or four shots of the garage as it is right now. No tidying first. We'd rather see the real thing.
2
We work out what it could be
We walk it with you and talk about what you keep in there, what drives you mad, and what you'd actually use the room for. Then we build a plan around that and tell you honestly if something isn't worth the money.

We finish it
One crew, in the order that makes sense for a garage. You're not scheduling three separate projects around your own car.
What you can expect from us.
It's your garage and your idea of what it should become. We're here to know how to get it there and to make the decisions easier.
If something's complicated we'll make it simple rather than use it to sound impressive. No jargon used as a sales tool.
Including the parts we'd make money on. A plan built around what you need beats one built around what we stock.
Your driveway, your walls, your neighbours. We protect what's there and leave it cleaner than we found it every day, not just at the end.
In uniform, on time, organised. You should be able to tell from the driveway that the people in your garage know what they're doing.
Up front, in writing, and one we hit. If the concrete surprises us once it's open, you hear about it before we act on it.
We photograph the slab, the repairs and every layer before it gets covered. If a question ever comes up, the answer exists.
What it's like when it's done.
You pull in and the floor is one clean surface under the car. The bikes are on the wall. The seasonal bins are overhead where you can't trip on them. There's light in the corners for the first time since you moved in.
You walk through it into your house twice a day and it stops being the room you apologise for. On a Saturday you go out there on purpose.
That's the whole point. It was always your space. It just never got finished.
Start with a few photos.
No tidying first. Send the garage as it is, and we'll tell you what it could be, what it would take and roughly what it runs. The first conversation is free and you'll know quickly whether we're the right people for it.
Got it.
We'll take a look and get back to you shortly. If it's easier, call us at (609) 546-0196.
